Stability Clinic Practice Framework

A Coherent Philosophy of Practice

At Stability Clinic, we believe that the quality of care is shaped not only by clinical knowledge, but also by the way people, professional judgement, systems and technology work together.

Our approach is guided by five interconnected principles.

Intention

Every aspect of the practice is designed with purpose. Decisions are made thoughtfully to support safe, ethical and human-centred care.

Integration

Integration is more than combining different therapies. It is the intentional connection of people, knowledge, systems and care so that each element strengthens the others.

Coherence

Coherence is the presence of meaningful connection. It emerges when our values, communication, professional standards and clinical practice work together as one.

Trust & Safety

Trust is built through consistency, respect and professional integrity. We are committed to creating an environment where people feel safe, heard and supported throughout their care.

Human-Centred Practice

Every person is unique. Our role is to understand the individual, respect their circumstances and create the conditions in which healing and wellbeing become more likely.

Together, these principles guide every aspect of Stability Clinic and provide the foundation for our professional standards, clinical practice and continuous improvement.

Consent & Professional Boundaries

Stability Clinic is committed to providing care that is collaborative, respectful and within our professional scope of practice.

Before commencing care, clients are provided with information about the nature of the services offered and have the opportunity to ask questions before giving informed consent.

Clients are encouraged to make informed decisions about their healthcare and may withdraw their consent at any time.

Where a client’s needs fall outside our professional scope, or where another healthcare professional is better placed to provide appropriate assessment or care, we will recommend referral to a suitable practitioner or service.

We recognise the importance of professional boundaries and practise within our qualifications, experience and professional scope. Where appropriate, we will recommend referral to another healthcare professional or service in the best interests of our clients.

Clinical Records

Stability Clinic maintains accurate, confidential and contemporaneous clinical records to support safe, ethical and continuous care.

Clinical records are securely managed using Cliniko, our practice management system. Access is restricted to authorised personnel, and reasonable steps are taken to protect personal information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure.

Clients may request access to, or correction of, their personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Clinical records are retained and managed in accordance with applicable legal, professional and regulatory requirements.

Informed Consent

At Stability Clinic, informed consent is an ongoing process based on clear communication, mutual understanding and respect.

Before commencing care, we explain the nature and purpose of the services offered, discuss expected benefits, potential limitations and any relevant considerations, and provide the opportunity for clients to ask questions.

Clients are encouraged to make informed decisions about their care and may withdraw their consent at any time.

Where appropriate, we will recommend referral to another healthcare professional or service if it is in the client’s best interests or falls outside our professional scope of practice.

We are committed to providing care that is collaborative, transparent and centred on the individual’s needs, goals and informed choices.
