Stability Clinic — Terms & Conditions

  • Nature and Scope of Services

    Stability Clinic provides complementary health services including Mind-Body Medicine, Kinesiology, Structural & Craniosacral Therapy, Emotional Release Therapy and Photobiomodulation (PBM) / Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT).

    These services are complementary and non-medical. They do not replace medical diagnosis, physiotherapy, psychological treatment, psychiatric care or other appropriate medical care.

    Clients are encouraged to seek medical advice from a qualified health professional where required.

  • Bookings and Payments
    • Appointments can be booked online through the Stability Clinic website or by contacting the clinic directly.
    • Payment is due on or before the session and may be made via Stripe, EFTPOS, major credit cards (including AMEX), Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfer or cash.
    • Packages must be paid in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
    • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule or cancel an appointment.
    • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, or non-attendance, may incur the full session fee.
    • Exceptions may be made for illness, emergency or compassionate circumstances at the practitioner’s discretion.
  • Confidentiality & Privacy
    • All personal and health information is kept confidential and stored securely in accordance with Australian Privacy Principles (APP).
    • Information will only be disclosed with your written consent, or if required by law, or if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others.
  • PBM Therapy Packages & Expiry
    • Packages are non-refundable once the first session has commenced.
    • Packages are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase unless agreed otherwise.
    • Packages are non-transferable unless otherwise agreed by the practitioner.
    • Packages are intended to support ongoing care over a consistent period of time.
  • Online & Distance Sessions
    • Clients agree to attend online sessions from a private, safe and uninterrupted space.
    • For Kinesiology or Emotional Release Therapy sessions, muscle testing may be carried out using practitioner self-testing or surrogate testing with consent.
    • Online sessions are not suitable for emergency or crisis care.
  • Client Health & Responsibility
    • Clients must inform the practitioner of relevant medical conditions, injuries, medications, pregnancy or health changes prior to sessions.
    • If concerns arise that require medical or psychological support, clients may be referred to a GP, psychologist or other health professional.
    • In urgent situations, clients should contact 000 or crisis services such as Lifeline 13 11 14.
  • Consent to Treatment By booking and attending a session, you acknowledge and agree that:
    • You understand the complementary and non-medical nature of the services provided.
    • You understand no diagnosis, prescription or guarantee of outcome is offered.
    • You consent to treatment and accept responsibility for your own health and wellbeing.
  • Work Health & Safety (WHS) & Client Wellbeing
    • The clinic provides a safe, clean and respectful environment in line with Work Health & Safety regulations.
    • Equipment and treatment spaces are cleaned and sanitised regularly.
    • Clients must inform the practitioner if they feel unwell, unsafe or uncomfortable at any time.
    • Either the client or practitioner may pause or end a session if safety, ethics or wellbeing require it.
  • Cultural Respect & Inclusion
    • All clients are treated with dignity and without discrimination regardless of age, gender, cultural background, religion, sexual orientation, disability or identity.
    • The clinic upholds inclusive, culturally sensitive and trauma-informed practice.
    • Clients are welcome to bring a support person or interpreter if this helps them feel safe or understood.
  • Professional Boundaries & Ethics
    • Clients remain fully clothed during sessions unless otherwise agreed, and only where therapeutically appropriate.
    • Inappropriate physical, verbal or sexual behaviour will result in immediate termination of the session.
    • The practitioner follows the IICT (or relevant association) Code of Conduct and ethical practice standards.
  • Children & Vulnerable Clients
    • Clients under 18 require consent from a parent or legal guardian.
    • A parent or guardian may be requested to be present during a session with minors.
    • The practitioner holds a current Working With Children Check (if applicable).
  • Late Arrivals
    • If you are running late, please notify the clinic by phone, text message or email as soon as possible.
    • If you arrive late for your appointment, your session may need to be shortened to avoid impacting subsequent appointments. 
    • The full session fee may still apply.
